Happy Thursday!
This morning as I read the verse of the day on the Bible app it was Philippians 4:9.
"The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you."
As I've contemplated so much in this month of "how I'd jump back in" or "what's next" I kept trying to get really creative and fancy about my next move but in ONE moment I read this scripture and it was as clear as can be.
What's my next move?
The things I've learned on this journey, the things I've received from Jesus (revelations, healing, miracles, signs, and wonders) and the things I've heard from Jesus and seen Him do.... I'll do THOSE things. And then what?????? And the God of peace will be with me.
Wow. How simple
Sometimes we complicate what Jesus has already made so simple for us. He's already gone before us and paved the way, and yet we show up with a shovel when all He wanted was for us to just show up. Leave the shovel, drop the hammer, and just show up. He's paved your path, walk with Him and He WILL give you what you need as you go.
Jesus is a faithful friend AND Father. He's giving you what you need for each day, it's safe to trust Him.
So I'll keep showing up, and let Him do what He does! The other day I asked Him "what do you want me to do?" He quickly replied "Make my name known, and have FUN!"
So be it.
