As I was getting dressed for church this morning in somewhat of a rush.. I just started grabbing different pieces and realized I didn't have a coat that would match my outfit. So.. immediately I started thinking "I need a new coat"... but I began to dig a little deeper.. and guess what I found! Not just any coat... a PINK GINGHAM coat of my dreams that I had forgotten all about

So I started thinking.... Aren't we the same way sometimes?! We get a word from God and after a while we grow impatient with not seeing it come to pass so we tuck that word deep down the closet of our hearts and we grow weary in the waiting... and we begin to believe the lie that we need a NEW WORD, when in reality.. we just need to dig a little deeper to remember that when God speaks a word, it WILL come to pass...

So I don't know who needs to dig a little deeper today, but that word that you've tucked away, that dream, that desire, that hope, that calling.. it's not dead! You just have to dig a little deeper! Wait a little longer! Praise a little louder until it comes to pass! He hasn't forgotten what He said, He's giving you the opportunity to BUILD your faith!

You don't need a new word, you need to dig up the one He already gave you. You don't need a new wardrobe, you just need to pull out your winter box and dig a little! Dig until the doubts die! Dig until your desperation becomes motivation to see your dream to the other side! Dig until you find your faith! Dig until you find hope again!

One thing I've learned in my faith journey is.. I always find Him in the deep end. The deeper I go, the closer He is.

Dig deep this week! He's going to remind you of some things that are already in you! #MinutesWithMandy #DareToBelieve
